Review of Queen Mary 2 deck 2 (Lobby)
- Illuminations Theatre (493 seats) is 2-leveled, and features a giant movie screen. It also hosts the world’s only floating Planetarium. The Planetarium (capacity 150 seats) is for astronomy and constellation shows, high-tech visual programs, virtual reality movies.
- Pursers Office / Tours Office / Voyage Sales Office are guest-services desks serving the Cunard Line’s shore excursions and future cruise booking programs. They also provide information, consulting and planning services.
- Grand Lobby Atrium (level 1 of 6) has a grand piano on its 1st floor, and features a grand sweeping staircase, bridge located over the atrium, interior glass-wall (panoramic) lifts. Here is also the ship's Reception providing 24-hour guest services (assistance, information, cruise booking, reservations, cashier).
- Golden Lion Pub (capacity 123 seats) is a traditional British pub bar (with beverages and food menu). It has a large selection of UK and international beers, live entertainment, large-size TVs, small dance floor.
- Empire Casino (capacity 222 seats, size 6000 ft2 / 610 m2) has 115 slots and 11 gambling tables, full service Casino Bar. Smoking is not allowed here. Note: The casino’s size was reduced during the refurbishment 2016 to allow the addition of the new KB-Oceanview single cabins here.
- Images Photo Gallery & Shop provides onboard professional photo-video services and equipment at duty-free prices. In the evenings it exhibits fine art works.
- Cunard ConneXions is a complex of 7 rooms that can be used separately or joined together. They host various onboard events, serve the Cunard’s enrichment program and for business and large group meetings (equipment is provided).
- Cyber Centre (Room 1 in Cunard ConneXions) has 9 Internet computers. 35 Internet workstations are available in some of the other ConnneXions rooms.
- Royal Court Theatre (capacity 1105 seats) is 2-decks high, with dynamic stage for grand show and musical productions in the evenings. The Theater also features concert hall acoustic and high tech equipment (level 1 of 2).
- Voyage Baleb Office
- Clarendon Art Gallery hosts art auctions and exhibitions in the decks 2 and 3 walkways. The artworks are all originals made by famous painters.
- Video Arcade offers newest video games for passengers of all ages.
- Britannia Restaurant (capacity 1351 seats) is a 3-decks high Dining Room (2 decks are for guests use). Its interior resembles the White Star Line’s dining saloons. Britannia Restaurant serves open-seating Breakfast and Lunch. Dinners are waiter-served, and with 2 assigned sittings- at 6 or 8:30pm. Inside the restaurant is the Britannia Club (private dining room) available for booking by Britannia Club Balcony guests only.

The Queen Mary remains closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic, with no indication of when it will reopen. The ship’s website has been taken down for “maintenance and reorganizing” as operators focus on reopening, said Mark Frances, managing director at the ship.

Opening Times
The casinos on board will only open when the ship is outside UK territorial waters which is generally 12 miles off shore (approximately 45 minutes after departure*), as long as the cruise has an overseas port such as:
- Cobh - Republic of Ireland
- Dublin - Republic of Ireland
- St Peters Port - Channel Islands
- Foreign country ports
On voyages that do not have overseas ports, i.e an itinerary with only UK territory ports of call (as below) we would be unable to open the casino because we would never be 12 miles outside UK territorial waters.

Most of the casino table games will be offered at from $3 - $25 minimum with the table maximums varying between $100 - $500. The slot machines cover a variety of denominations (including $5, $1, 25c, 5c and penny machines) and games such as reel slots, traditional video pokers and some of the latest developments in video slots.
On Queen Mary 2 there are 9 gaming tables (including Roulette, Blackjack, Three card poker, Heads up Texas Hold'em*) and around 55 slot machines.
On Queen Elizabeth there are 5 gaming tables (including Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Fun 21) and 46 slot machines.
On Queen Victoria there are 5 gaming tables (including Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Fun 21) and 44 slot machines.
Gaming lessons are generally available during the day.

Payment Options
Cash is accepted however no longer necessary in all Empire casinos. You can insert cash (notes) directly into any slot machine or use cash to purchase chips at any of the gaming tables.
